Quick and Simple Valentines/Blank Cards

I just thought I would share what I was making really late last night. I had an order via my Etsy shop for 36 of these cards I make to sell.

I first sat and cut and scored 36 white card blanks measuring 3"x3". Cut at 3" x 6" and score at 3".
I had to layer them using brown Eco recycled card stock.
As I am a die cutter and sell lots of die cuts I have a tray full of odd sized heart shapes etc..

You can easily use any medium sized heart punch to cut some out. I have one from Hobbycraft which I have had for years! The middle card was ink daubed gently using the Tim Holtz sponge inker and Blushing Bride Stampin'Up ink.

It is so easy to make cards using scraps! This is why it's always so handy to have a punch so you can cut out shapes from waste. The materials I used to make these was minimal. I didn't die cut anything for it - it was just bits and bobs I had lying around in my craft room basket.

My moto - Don't throw it...use it because it saves you money and materials.

These are so quick and easy to make. They are perfect for Valentines cards to give to family and friends or can be used as generic blank thank you or note cards.
