Dino Days Birthday Cards

Hey everyone! It's been ages. I have just been so busy making and posting orders but I have had a chance to get creating during my summer holidays.

I ordered a bunch of new items from the annual Stampin'Up catalogue and I just wanted to create something super wuick, cute and easy.

I loved the Dino Days suite and ended up with the 12x12 designer series papers, stamp set and cutting dies.

These measure 6x4 and I have just used 4 sheets of A4 card to make 4 card bases - by just folding them in half. Cards can be purchased from my Etsy shop.

Simple Vintage Note Cards

Just sharing some simple, quick and easy note cards I put together yesterday for my Etsy shop. I like to add new items during my holidays to keep my shop looking fresh with new items.

I used a lovely paper pack called 'Vintage outdoor' by Craft sensations that I purchased from The Range, UK. It was only £1 and the patterns are just so pretty and shabby chic style.

I used the 'Butterfly Gala' Stamp set by Stampin'Up on a 4"x 4" card blank just to create some simple note cards which can be used for birthdays, thank you or just even reminders.

They are available to purchase in my Etsy shop. CLICK HERE

Quick & Simple Card Stock Storage Idea

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday evening was planned to be a crafting session in my room and organisation took over!!

I already have a storage system in place for my regular and everyday card stock which is underneath my desk using inexpensive Ikea magazine holders. I took a glance at my Stampin'Up card stock which I keep on my working desk and it looked a mess.

I had recently received my Spring/Summer order and had just placed the packs of card in without opening the packets and it was just screaming out for some love.I did already have them tabbed but I always confused myself as I was always struggling to see if that was the actual colour I was looking for.

Here is a photo of the how it was stored before I made it just amazing! Just look at the transformation!

This took me around 2 hours and I used really simple and inexpensive supplies.

- Dymo Letratag label maker (this is NOT needed - you can easily print out labels on word and cut them to stick to tabs)
- Magazine holders from Poundland,UK
- Scissors
- 2 1/4" circle punch OR any other punch in any shape. I used this as I wanted something big.
- Double sided tape or snail adhesive.

This is a great way to organise if you're a hobby demo or part time crafter and doesn't have a huge craft room or workspace. I would love to own rack but I can't as I have no room or space. These fit perfectly into a space in my craft room.

I have made a quick and simple video to show you how I made the tabs and put everything together.

Enjoy and share your simple card storage ideas as I would love to see.

Stampin'Up Spring/Summer Catalogue is here with Sale-E-Bration!!

Hi Everyone,

Hope you've all had a fantastic Christmas & New Year. After a few busy week I have finally returned to my craft room. As a demonstrator I get the advantage of pre ordering Spring/Summer products before customers however I've been a little busy and had a lot on and still haven't placed any orders!!

The new Stampin'Up Spring/Summer catalogue launches tomorrow and I am super excited. Even though I had already looked online and made a list of all the new goodies I wanted...I've now had to edit my list again. As I hadn't placed an online order for a while, I was yet to receive my free copy of the brochure. Things honestly look so much better in the actual paper catalogue than they do on the website and PDF version of the catalogue.

I joined Stampin'Up 3 years ago and I wish I had joined during the Sale-E-Bration month. During Sale-E-Bration you can join Stampin'Up for an amazing deal.

There is 2 options available and option 2 gives £170 worth of products and the craft & carry tote bag for only £125 OR option 1-£170 worth of product (anything from the annual or spring/summer catalogue) for only £99!

The tote bag looks like this:

If you wish to join my team during this period but think you don't want to sell or you won't be able to make your sales target that's okay. I always think of crafting as an addiction - I genuinely can't help myself when it comes to new product and I am just drawn to paper craft products. You would need to spend £75 a month to keep your membership active, if you don't it just means that you are no longer an active demo and will be removed as a demo in July. You still get to keep the products and you never know...a friend might just be your customer that keeps you as an active demo.

I never joined with an intention to promote or sell products - it was just purely for the 20% discount.  Click the image below if you wish to join or email me and I will be glad to help.

30 Cards using 6 Sheets of 12" x 12" paper

Completed my challenge of making 24 cards using 6 sheets of 12"x12" designer series paper and ended up making 30 cards!!!!

I use to be a DSP hoarder. I always ended up odering lots of it, looked at it, stroked it and then added it to my existing stash. It would then retire and I would end up selling it or using it for a project at school etc..

Last year it all changed. I chopped into it and made so many cards so i decided to exactly the same this year but only using half of the pack.

I always love creating a variety of sizes. For this challenge I wanted to showcase the paper as it's so gorgeous and festive. This can be done with any 12"x12" paper. I think I might give it a go for my Valentines cards next year.

This paper is now out of stock but don't feel afraid to use any other paper. Buy it, chop it, glue it and give it away!!

24 Christmas Cards using 6 sheets of 12"x12" Paper

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Christmas challenge. I love buying Designer series paper from Stampin'Up and I never end up using it. In fact, I hoard it and then end up selling it. I set myself a challenge- that I was going to use 6 sheets of the 12"x12" Joyous Noel DSP to make at least 24 Christmas cards!!!

This paper is gorgeous. It is double sided with 1 side detailed with beautiful intricate gold copper foiling and reverse being normal paper.
I started on Sunday 4th November and have so far made almost 15 cards. I still have a lot of paper left over so who knows ....will I be able to make more than 24?

I will be sharing all the different cards that I have put together using the DSP.

I plan to make videos to show how I made each card design. I have kept them simple and stylish.

Quick, Simple & Easy Thank You Cards

Hi Everyone,

I am finally sending my Autumn/Winter Stampin'Up catalogues out this week and I wanted to make some simple, quick & easy cards to send for all my customers. I don't have many - only a handful but they mean so much to me as they can shop with anyone but they chose me.

These honestly took me 10 mins and I genuinely love the way they turned out. I have listed them in my Etsy shop as I think they make a great pack. You can find all measurements and how I put them together in the video below.

Weekend Craft Haul

Hi Everyone,

After having a super manic week with weddings I managed to get away for an hour and do some craft shopping. I walked into Poundland and found some lovely gems, pearls, glue gun stick refills and wooden embellishments.

I've also wanted a stamping tool for a while but I never really thought I'd need one. I just love it!!! I have made a short video to showcase my haul.

Craft Tip - Stampin'Up Card Vs Normal Card

Last weekend I managed to get into my craft room and create some Christmas projects. I always tend to use Stampin'Up Whisper white card stock but I was trying to use some cheaper card stock I had purchased from The Range as I felt I was Stampin'Up and using quite a lot.

When I stamped my Gingerbread man using Crumb cake ink, I thought it looked really odd. The colour wasn't the same and it looked really grainy. I then stamped on Stampin'Up Whisper white and it seemed to have stamped so much better. I was a little taken back with the results to be fair.

I decided to then make a quick tip video for my YouTube channel as I am sure there are lots of crafters out there - like me who tend to go for a different brand when stamping.

I have linked all the supplies used in the video. I highly recommend Stampin'Up crd for stamping especially if you're using Stampin'Up inks.
